Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava Bronze Fountain Pen

The Homo Sapiens is Visconti's most recognizable pen, and the Bronze version is the one that started it all. The body is made from a proprietary compound of over 50% basaltic lava sourced from Mount Etna in Sicily — mixed with resin in a patented formula that results in something genuinely unlike any other pen material on the market. It's dense and slightly warm to the touch, with a faint texture that keeps it secure in hand during long writing sessions. The trim throughout — clip, rings, and all metal accents — is solid natural bronze, mixed in the traditional way without protective coating. Left alone, it will develop a patina. Filling is handled by Visconti's single-reservoir vacuum power filler, with a capacity equivalent to roughly 10 standard cartridges.
